ELECTRIC AUTO is a MEDICA-HEAT SHIELD® model equipped with an electric automatic opening and closing mechanism. Because it opens and closes using button controls, it is designed to require less manual operation than a conventional manually operated umbrella.
The model is designed with users in mind who may find it difficult to apply force, including older adults with limited strength, people with disabilities such as an upper-limb amputation or hemiplegia following a stroke, and people who wish to operate the umbrella with one hand.

Heat-Shielding Performance with Ease of Use
Two layers of high-performance heat-resistant fabric help reduce heat transfer beneath the umbrella. The structure is also designed to allow trapped heat and air to escape more easily.
Combined with award-winning ease of use, recognized through a senior-focused award in Singapore, this heat-shielding performance makes the umbrella suitable for outdoor activities even on hot days.
Inner Panels for Smoother Folding
With folding umbrellas, arranging and storing the fabric after use can sometimes be burdensome. On ELECTRIC AUTO, panels on the inside act as guides during storage.
By making the fabric easier to gather, the design also considers ease of use when folding the umbrella.
