MEDICA-HEAT SHIELD®is a series of heatstroke-prevention products developed by an umbrella manufacturer with 91 years of history, combining high-performance heat-shielding fabric with proprietary structural design.
The products are designed to address not only heat from the sun, but also reflected heat from the ground and heat trapped beneath the canopy. Our goal is to help create an environment in which older adults, people with disabilities, children, and many others can go outdoors more comfortably even on hot days.

The fabric used in our products has undergone heat-shielding and fabric quality tests in accordance with JUPA standards, and has passed the required criteria.
Through independent testing, the performance and quality of the fabric have been verified, helping ensure a reliable level of quality for our customers.
A Proprietary Structure Designed to Reduce Heat Transfer
Two layers of high-performance heat-shielding fabric create an air layer between them, helping reduce the transfer of heat into the space beneath the umbrella. The structure is also designed to allow trapped heat and air to escape more easily.
It is designed not only to block sunlight, but also to improve comfort beneath the canopy.
